Title: how to conver vidoes in to avi format?

hey i have an ipod video but i was wondering how do i convert movies into avi form? is there a downlaode versiopn on anywebsites? help is very much appreciated.

Don't think Ipod video will handle avi, mpg, or any other normal common format..

oh yea it wont but how can you convert  it to avi anyways i just need to know for future reference or something
