1. Dre(brought the Gangsta Beat to the masses)
2. Snoop(probably the most known...one of the best writers period....carried the torch of NWA)
3. Ice Cube(wrote some of the best albums ever....helped dre bring gangsta rap to the masses)
4. E-40(people bullshittin by not puttin him on....ambassador of the bay...the biggest boss out there....put that shit on the map along with Too Short)
5. DJ Quik(as of right now he got alot of pull...was one of the first peeps bangin his gang on records..which we hear all the time now...best beats in the whole game without a doubt)

Too Short isnt on the list cuz he relocated to atlanta...lost alot of love for it....Xzibit...he hasnt done enough....pac is dead...so is eazy...they cant run anything from 6 feet under....del?!?!??!????? lmao at that one....and J5?!???! ha.....they need to thank Pharcyde and Freestyle Fellowship for the west coast underground....the latter two...Pharcyde just missed out...they been wack lately....Freestyle Fellowship were a close 6th...they are staples in west coast underground....Nate is only good for hooks...he runs that department...Warren G has been wack for some years now...still always will be in dres shadow....Defari...thats just hilarious....Kurupt still hasnt done enough for us....Ras has done some shit for the west...not enough to be considered a boss....Suge just missed out cuz of his little vacation to northern cali....but hes movin back up pretty quik....
