What equipment do I need to buy starting out

I'm trying to produce an album for myself..  What should I start off on?

first u need 2 turn tables, mixer , amp.

for a DJ yes.

for production... best ask people like I-BO / JayMastaJay etc.

i'd grab a copy of fruityloops & some sample manipulation software (like cooledit or soundforge) from somewhere and play with that.

i dig this section.. people ask question and get their answers 5 months later... :P



honestly overseer, u should delete this section and merge it with the unsigned hype section
