Jome

|01  | desert storm - freestyle                  |  4:08 |   ÛÛÛÛÛ²Ý
Some ok freestyles on "In da club" beat..

|02  | dj envy ft fabolous & paul cian - why     |  4:38 |   ÛÛÛÛÛ²Ý
All hating aside, this beat is HOT, probably Rockwilder..
Paul Cain is ok, but Fabolous is a plague..

|03  | foxy brown - open book                    |  2:26 |   ÛÛÛÛÛ²Ý
Jay-Z light (female version).. sigh

|04  | capone n noreaga ft m.o.p. - stomp the shit out you  |  2:56 |   ÛÛÛÛÛ²Ý
Now this is the shit, CNN back on the old gangsta-shit tip, and MOP representing.. Club-hit fa sho..
The beat is stolen though, from Wu-Tang.. but at first I didn't really notice it, because the lyrics are dope.

|05  | camron santana - lets get it on rmx       |  4:24 |   ÛÛÛÛÛ²Ý
Boring..

|06  | keith murray ft redman eric sermon - yeah |  4:21 |   ÛÛÛÛÛ²Ý
Aww sht, this is dope..
Keith Murray fucking rips it.. he starts his verse talking: "Just Blaze, you son of a gun!!"
Indian inspired beat once again.. E-Dub comes nice & Redman too, but Keith Murray rips it best.
One of the doper Just Blaze beats in a long while..

|07  | angie martinez & fabolous - take you hom  |  3:40 |
2 wack MC's on a tolerable beat..

|08  | mobb deep - deep roots                    |  1:34 |
Just a snippet, not that interesting..
I hope this isn't Hav on the boards, because it's so-so..

|09  | mop - its that simple                     |  3:48 |
Pretty dope, probably DJ Premo on the beats, but this is the sort of joint that'll grow on you..

|10  | rah digga - im coming back                |  4:03 |
Never felt Rah Digga, but the beat is fucking sick..
Sounds like a mix between Dre & Rockwilder..

|11  | charli baltimore ft caddilac tah black Child, Crooked I - Showdown  |  4:09
To me, this is bullshit.. there's a couple of nice verses though, but if this is how Crooked I is gonna blow up, there's a reason to worry..

|12  | foxy ft rah digga - fox 5                 |  4:26 |
Sounds like Premo to me, but pretty average joint..

|13  | freeway ft alan anthony - alright rmx     |  3:04 |
Another Just Blaze-beat, pretty dope..
FreeWay isn't ny fav. though..

|14  | caddilac tah - freestyle                 |  3:13 |
Freestyle on the "In da club", and dissing 50 Cent.
I gotta admit Tah comes nice on this, even if I'ma 50 fan..
The chorus he does is awesome, and the disses are pretty ok.
Tah is by far the best on Murder Inc.

|15  | rah digga - day of the cross              |  3:12 |
Digga on "The Cross" beat, supposedly a freestyle.

|16  | fox 5 - turn it out                       |  3:52 |
Yeah, ok. Not a new Fabolous ::)

|17  | memphis bleek & Geda K - freestyle                 |  4:38 |
the 3rd "in da club" freestyle on this tape, Dre is popular, LoL..
Memph comes ok, and Geda K is the Eastcoast Phats Bossi..

|18  | fat joe ft young & restless - cradle to   |  3:36 |
Fat Joe fell off.. HARD

|19  | lady may - freestyle                      |  2:15 |
Freestyle on "Made you look".. NEXT!!

|20  | ejikay - freestyle                        |  2:00 |
Yeah, ok.. we'll call you

This is odd, Keith Murray already has a song called "Yeah" with Erick Sermon, Redman, Jamal & Busta Rhymes, from his second album.

Well, actually it's called "Yeah yeah, you know it", but some of it got cut off..

Basically, Fabolous is just a bad copy of Mase & 50..
You say that 50 is a bad copy of Mase, but 50's been in the game for a good minute..
And 50 would kill Fabolous before the battle even started.

Go pick on another rapper instead, LoL.. (Foo)  :D

Yup.
Once you sign with a major, you automatically get.. let's say a million new fans.
But at the same time, you also get a few hundred thousand haters, and the funny thing about this.. half of these haters is people that actually used to check for you when you was underground..
But once you sign for a major, and have the possibillity to sell more than gold, hey you're suddenly a sell-out.

And Fabolous used to be ok, until he turned into Mr.Ice-Bling Playa, flashing ca$h & pretending to be a member of a boy-band, but at the same time claiming gangsta & "yall just wannabes".
He's the lyrical version of P.Diddy..

I really see 50 Cent as more of a gimmick than anything else. Lyrically he offers very little and his droany flow just annoys me. He's alright for the odd verse on a mixtape remix, but he certainly doesn't hold my attention long enough for a whole album to be released of him. Fabolous is the same sort of thing, good for a couple of guest appearances and shit, but he has better lyrical structure than 50 Cent, and I actually do think that he would beat 50 Cent in a battle.

* 50 started out before '99, 50 had been in the game for some time when Fab came out.
* How can a rapper go platinum+ if he's talking about shooting columbians or slanging dope on the first single? Of course it's commercial!! Same thing for Nas & Jay-Z
* That damn homie thing is just a part of the advertising.. catchy singles..
Same as "My name is" or any other commercial single..it's meant to sell the album goddamn it.

IN YO MOUFF S.G.V.!!  ;D Haha FOO!!

Now I admit I didn't start checking for 50 after "How to rob" was released..
Then there was silence.. people were shocked.. and then Jigga made his infamous line "I'm about a dolla, what the fuck is 50 Cents ??
Right there, you knew that 50 had shot bullseye.. Jay-Z doesn't mention you on a commercially released album unless he feels his position threatened and feels he have competition..

Ma$e who ??  ;D

I think it's funny how everyone suddenly thinks 50 Cent is so good. On the day that he was shot he was going to record the video for the first single off of his album featuring Destinys Child. If he hadn't got shot then he would just have been another commercial rapper on the scene, and he wouldn't be getting any love on this board at all.
