i'm kicking rocks... growing Dread Locks...then i hear 3 kocks,, then 3 shots/
just another day in the hood, but nobody would give a damn even though they should/
yeah it just another day in the hood, knock on wood, cuz shit ain't geting no better no matter how much i wish it would/
it's da westside, da IE, da place where there ain't shit... but i live here gladly, i'm bring u the news west cost style like ed bradley/
sadly for ever improvement we make in comes a set back or 2, and it aint' nothing new, the shit keeps me blue/
i know what i'mma do... just keep on keeping on, push foward like a quiet storm, out of sight but doing big things...as i reach forward, take flight, and expand my wings./
