The World thinks Americans are all a bunch of overweight, fat hillbillies that sit around on their couches in the trailerparks of America, and do whatever the president tells them to.  

The world also, generally has a view that the democrats among us are more intelligent, and conservatives are more archaic and not as enlightened.

I don't understand this mentality.  How arrogant is it of someone from Canada, or France, or whatever, to act like we're all a bunch of dumbasses being led around on a string, when in reality; we've became the world's greatest superpower, while ALSO being one of the world's newest countries (230 years old).  We lead the world in so many fields it isn't even funny, and have went from running around in loincloths hunting buffalo to owning the most powerful military, pioneering liberty, and basically running the world, in 230 years.


How can you be so arrogant, that you think we're all a bunch of fools? Open your eyes.  We're obviously not that fucking stupid, we run shit.  We didn't get PUT there, we PUT ourselves there.  

I just find it interesting that everybody knocks us, but we're the best at practically EVERYTHING.  How the fuck do you get off saying we're all stupid? LOL.  The entire congress, house of reps, supreme court, and the presidency, as well as a majority of the governerships is ran by conservatives who the world thinks are antiquated and can't be in touch with reality, but IN reality, we've survived the largest terrorist attack on our soil, we've fought and won 2 wars decisively on what was deemed the harshest geography in the world, we've passed bills furthering health care benefits for every senior citizen in america (which no other president could get passed), we've lowered taxes, and we've spiked the economy to 20 year highs in some levels, such as manufacturing and home building.  


All by a bunch of cavemen imbeciles the world sees as idiots.


Here's a hint: If you want to attack us, you might want to at least acknowledge that your average U.S. citizen is pretty intelligent.  As are most people in most countries, I'm not bragging, I'm just saying; why the arrogance in saying that the U.S. is ran by idiots? LOL LOOK AT WHAT WE'VE DONE... IN 2 Years!

I'm not saying anybody should kiss our ass, I'm just saying at least give us the common decency to admit that we're the same as you.  


(Italians not included, LOL I know yall are alright).  I'm really not even talking about any specific country, or anything, I'm just talking about specific individuals, who imagine themselves intelligent, but they're making a HUGE mistake to just pigeon hole every american or every conservative as a caveman.

And yes,Americans are pigeonholed. But what can you expect when most of you just don't care about anything if it isn't related to America? Most of you just don't know shit about the world outside America.

That isn't to say people in other countries (like over here in the Netherlands) can't be dumb as fuck,for example people over here will go on vacation to Isla Marguerita (in Venezuela) and think they're going to somewhere in Spain. They just don't search information about the place they'll visit wich in my eyes is a sign of stupidity or at least terrible ignorance. I'm sure this is the case with people the world over.

You're discussing the principal,nothing wrong with that but I'm sure Trauma only wants to relate this to the US,as everything he says.

Every dog has his day.  But yeah, Trauma did make a strong case for America, you can't be stupid and accomplish all the things America has in a short span of time.

I never bothered reading anyone's post, but yes I am American, and yes I agree, overall and in general American's are fucking dumb.  I have had tons of experiences with a ton of different american people.  I have worked many many different service jobs where I deal with hundreds of people a day.  I now own a business which provides services to people.  From dealing with so many people I have come to the conclusion that Americans in general:

A) are Dumb
B) Do not think
C) are Lazy
D) are kind hearted and nice, but dumb
E) have their head shoved way up their ass

I could give thousands of examples, but I'm not going to, because there are a lot of dumb people on this forum too, and I don't need to prove to anyone that americans in general are dumb, because I know myself from personal experience.

Not to say American's are the dumbest people on the earth.  I wouldn't know.  I have never been to any other country except for Mexico.  The whole rest of the world could be very well as dumb as American's, I just don't know that.

ANd I will also say, that for as smart of animals as we are compared to every other animal in the world, we have got to be the dumbest.  Many of the problems of the world today are brought on by humans themselves.  We make the world and our lives much harder than it should be.  One example:  Starvation.  Nobody in this world should be suffering from starvation, yet there are a lot of people who do suffer from it.  It's not like there is any shortage of food at all, its just that people are dumb/selfish/greedy.  Do you know how many restaurant's/grocery stores in America throw away a shitload of food everyday?

if i worked with handicapped people all day can i say that everyone in america is sufferening from down syndrome? in any kind of experiment, you need multiple variables to prove your point... so you have a business and people go to you for help...that makes them stupid? tomorrow i want you to apply for NASA and tell me how far you get dealing with these stupid people... or go to home depot and build a house with no help from those stupid people

i agree with trauma entirely...what makes me laugh (and a little pissed off) is when people from other countries say shit like "americans are ignorant because they dont know anything about the world outside of america"...well here's a good example that always stuck with me...one day i was talking to mauzip about all of this shit...like a year ago. and he was like "americans are ignorant...you dont even know you're geography overseas" and i was like "no, not all of use are like that...most of us do know our geography but its not like we memorize every little place" and he was like "well thats ignorant" and this convo started because of the war so i was like "we know all the places we are at in the war(s) and whatnot"...at that point he was like "yeah but you guys dont know anything other than that" so i said "i bet before you moved to the US you didnt know the geography of all 50 states"...his reply was "no but i knew all the important ones, texas, california, etc..."...i laughed so hard...so we are ignorant for not knowing the geography of a place we've never been to. but the place he lived for a year or more he still didnt realize that every state has just as much importance as another. im not tryin to diss mauzip im just sayin i hear a lot of stupid shit like that. and its rediculous. people have this preconcieved notion that americans are just a bunch of ignorant assholes...and its not true.
