best concept for a song?

whats the best concept in a song you've heard?

my favorites would be:

Cam'ron - D Rugs: drugs being personafied was cool...anything being personafied this well is rare. and the moral of the song is cool...even though im pretty sure cam is an avid weed smoker.

Jay-Z - 99 problems: most of the song is nothing other than just a dope song...the cop dialogue though is hot...great concept.

Atmosphere - Woman With The Tattooed Hands: again this track comes up in a thread...it had a great concept with lyrics like "a glimpse of religion, a piece of coming closer to understanding more about what intrigues me most"

Eminem - Stan: one of the best concepts i've ever heard...great ending to a great story...a tough song to play out.

Nas - Book Of Rhymes: a great idea...a song made by going through a book of rhymes....made a dope ass song...just proves that nas is now and always will be one of the best and most creative in the game.

Styles ft. Sheek, Cross & J-Hood - Nobody Believes Me
Styles has conversations with his knife, his gun, his cash and his weed. ;D

nice one ^^^

also forgot:

Sticky Fingaz - I'm Money: sticky portrays himself as money and again (like d rugs) personafies an inatimate object very well....this was also done by zebrahead.

and of course DMX's Damien series was very nicely done.

Ras Kass - Interview With A Vampire

Despite the fact that it's downright blasphemy, it's an incredible track.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

Sly Boogy - Walk Wit My Dogs

Made a whole year before Jay. Whole song is cop dialogue, not just a verse. Respect it.

ONe that comes to mind right now is 99 Problems by Jay Z....That song is sick IMO

Oh yea and What If by Fredro Star Im sure most people would agree with.

Also that Nas song from It was written about him being a gun...Thats a dope concept song aswell.

I definitely have to agree that "Woman With The Tattooed Hands" and "Nobody Believes Me" are great concepts.

And why does nobody list The Last Emperor's "Secret Wars"? Definitely very funny! Or what about Tech N9ne's track about his dick? Also very nice. Another one is "Peruvian Cocaine" by Immortal Technique, where every featured rapper has another part to complete the whole story.

But definitely the best concept is KRS' "I Can't Wake Up", where he's rappin' about bein' a blunt, and rappers like B-Real, Redman, etc. smoke him. That's some sick shit.
