Charlton needed to bring in a younger frontman, with Bartlett and Johansson still around, but I don't think signing Bent was such a great idea. He doesn't have a very good scoring rate, and he isn't gonna be the difference to take Charlton that step higher.

Id agree i wouldnt say he was better than Jason Euell, he will score goals but he's not prolific he needs a few chances to put the ball in the net.

Charltons forward line of bent and bent will be fun for commentators.

jason euell's a good striker in my books.. problem is he's pretty inconsistant at times but when he's on form he will get goals.. I think he'll do pretty well at Everton because he's got something to prove after being frozen out by curbishley like he was.

Marcus Bent is a complete waste of money. Scoring ratio is fucking shocking. Should have spent that money on someone like Jerome in the Championship.
