Busta Rhymes Appears On Truth Hurts Remix
« on: March 20, 2002, 09:19:27 AM »
(3/20/02, 4 p.m. ET) -- Dr. Dre has produced a remix of the Truth Hurts single "So Addictive" featuring Busta Rhymes. But the "So Addictive" remix isn't the first time Truth Hurts, Busta, and Dr. Dre collaborated on a song. Truth Hurts sings background vocals on Busta's "Break Ya Neck," produced by Dre.

The singer from St. Louis spent Saturday (March 16) and Sunday (March 17) at the Hotel Figueroa in downtown Los Angeles taping the video for the original version of the song, which is the first release from her forthcoming album, Truthfully Speaking.

The video, directed by Philip Atwell, complements the song's East Indian sound with belly dancing choreographed by Fatima Robinson, and her body decorated with henna art. Dre, DJ Quik--who produced the original version, Rakim, Shaunta, and AMG attended the video shoot on Sunday (March 17).
