Yea...There was a longer article about it a couple weeks back, it actually said the comments they made...Eva supposedly said something like "don't worry he's just one of those Mexican cops" or something along those lines...

Not really...It's just that 90% of his shots are lay-ups, thanks to the Spurs offense designed to get him those simple buckets...Not saying he's not a really good point guard though...

yeah that is how they design the offense. but if you watch their games, he's creating over half of those layups himself either on fast breaks or just off the dribble in the half court. what makes it crazy to me, is that he isnt an amazing outside shooter. he knocks em down, especially lately...when he's open. but with him not being known as a great outside shooter, its crazy that teams still dont stop his penetration. plus, he gets knocked to the floor more then Iverson lol

The fact that Parker isn't a good shooter came from a long time coz he was youngest he could outspeed anyone he wanted so he didn't see the interest in working his outside shoot (he said it ). This year he has improved by hitting mid-range jumpers more consistenly (has worked a lot with a expert shooter). Still very weak at free throws and 3pts though

the outside shooting is something that, as his career goes on, he'll definetely have to work on. He relies SO much on his speed. Players like that have a lot of adjusting to do through their career. At some point, he isnt gonna be able to outrun everyone on the floor...or be the quickest player on the floor and will need more aspects to his game to stay at this level. Shit, even Jordan had to transform his game in his later years.
