Alito
« on: January 29, 2006, 11:48:27 PM »
my theory on this:

George bush is fully backing this guy for his own interests and agenda (what a shocker)

Bush is planning to extend his term as presidency because we are in a "National Crisis' with the war, and who has the power to allow such a thing? Alito

Any president will do that though.  It's his pick lol.  It's still possible that a conservatice that's closer to the center than the other judges will still tilt the court to how it has been before.  Just picking a judge doesnt always work in favor of the President that has nominated him.

Alito is actually a great choice. If liberals don't like who the president picks for the Supreme Court, tell them to win the election next time.
