Mobb Deep Or Dogg Pound

Who did you think was better and more raw in their primes...Daz and Kurupt (dogg Pound) Or Havoc and Prodigy (Mobb Deep)?

Also who did you like better? (Not necesarily who you thought was better.)

I liked Dogg Pound Better.
I thought mobb deep was the better group.

Tha Dogg Pound. I like Dogg Food better than any Mobb Deep album.

Kurupt in his prime > Prodigy in his prime

Daz in his prime as a producer > Havoc in his prime as a producer

Mobb Deep has more superior albums though. Dogg Food was the only superior album Daz/Kurupt dropped whereas Mobb Deep has Infamous, Hell On Earth and Murda Muzik.

I think that Kurupt in his prime was better then Prodigy but not by much when it came to writing and Prodigy was so tight to listen too. Ill give Dogg Pound the Edge in who i like better. As far as Havoc producing and Daz producing  Daz had more classic beats where as Havoc did more sampling and had alot of the same drumlines, but he had some classic production....Shook ones, G.O.D Pt iii and the remix, Survival of the fittest all classic. I gotta give Mobb Deep the edge as the better group cause they made more albums that were GREAT! and Dogg Pound had Dogg Food. I dont think Dillinger and Young Gotti and D&YG2 match up to any of the Mobb's cd's.

Let me be the first to vote for Mobb Deep. I never thought Dogg Food was that much of a classic, but The Infamous is :o

Besides, where's the poll?

Dogg Food was better than any of Mobbs albums but Mobb is so consistent so I will pick Mobb Deep.

It's kind of a hard comparison to make cause their styles are so different, but I definitely prefer Mobb Deep.  Kurupt and Daz are both really talented, but DPG has yet to release one album I would call "classic" (even "Dogg Food" was highly overrated, IMO).  Mobb Deep has released a certified classic ("The Infamous"), plus they put out two more excellent albums ("Hell On Earth" and "Murda Muzik") that I would say are vastly superior.
