Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

When I first read this, I thought this was another of those jokes.

Now it's still so hard to believe! Dilla dead??!? What a sad day. Just yesterday, I was lookin for the Jaylib CD. May he rest in peace.

.....damn, we lost another one!........it isnt much of a shock tho', just cuz he'd been sick for a while.......still, mad tragic.....he was young and still had alot of great music left to make.........  shit, i was just bumping his new album, donuts, yesterday........RIP homie, make sum heavenly tracks wit pac, pun, big L & biggie...............
