the problem with the west is the same problem with the east.  Your mainstream outlets dont support there own at all.  These new cats dont get any exposure and the ones that do either spit the usually mix tape emcee shit (east coast) or the same imma gang banger (west coast).  Rap has hit some real hard times.  It just aint a west coast thing.  In the 90's you would never hear a song like laffy taffy on the radio. Its just part of the game, its a cycle.
