Ludacris
« on: February 26, 2006, 02:20:15 PM »
I think it's safe to say that Ludacris is one of the only mainstream rappers that still has a tight ass flow. I've always been a big fan and I thnk he tears it up on his albums, but I have noticed that he comes the hardest (most of the time) on guest appearances. Like on that song "Sugar" with Trick Daddy and Cee-Lo.Not only is it a bangin song but fuckin Luda spits some fire. Anyone agree, disagree? What are some other guest appearances with Luda that you like?

Lyrically, I don't hold Luda very high... But flow-wise, he definately deserves props. He can rhyme pretty cool about "nothing".

Luda's one of the only mainstream rappers that I truly respect. He's able to give the CEO's what they want (good hit singles) but at the same time he always tries to make sure that his style remains the same: tight flow, good lyrics, not too many guest appearances on his albums, good beats, etc...

I'm looking forward to hear his next album.

tight flow but I can't stand most of the production on his album at all (same goes for 90% of South albums)

yall might find wat i say weird but luda in my opinion is the south's JAY-Z
he is very successful sales wise... talent wise is has this eminem problem he trapped him self in a certain image that he cant be serious any more... but talent wise yall know he is a killa
juss listen to his verse on stomp dissin T.I, and check how he always holds him self down in songs with nas and jadakiss and heavy weights in general

in a couple of years i see luda doin big things business wise... he a very good business man

CLASSIC.... west is BACK

my favorite Luda guest spot was with Game on "Where You At?"  Luda has a sick flow and all but just like someone else said, his albums always seem to lack something.  He's got skill tho

That's why I don't buy into this bullshit about rappers claiming they're king of the south. No one in the south is comparable to Luda (at least main stream wise) He's got the talent and he's earned his strips. Flow is CRAZY. And so are his lyrics.
