So last night I saw Little Brother, Dilated, Defari...

decent show...Defari opened...I only caught half his performance...he played some shit from street music...I was kinda diggin the beats but imo Defari's lyrics aren't very impressive...Little Brother was next and that was one of the best performances i've seen! Phonte & Big Pooh were rockin it...They brought Darien Brockington & Joe Scudda...I had only heard Darien Brockington on the LB cds but last night I bought an EP by him...that dude can sing his ass off. Then Dilated came up...Evidence was rippin the mic like crazy...Babu was doing some dope scratching. Dilated bored me a little after awhile though...although evidence did do this song he said he only performs at shows and wont ever record...and it was all about concerts and shows and shit...it was hilarious. After the show I talked to phonte and big pooh and Darien Brockington and had them sign my cds. They were pretty cool. all in all it was a decent concert...

Interesting note about Defari. Normally I think his lyrics are decent but, at times, his beats let him down.

the Little Brother gig i went to at the Jazz Cafe last year is the dopest gig ive ever been to...they really put on a good show...phonte signed my ticket too...really nice people...

nah no backstage pass...pooh was tryin to get outside and he stopped and talked to me for a minute...it was actually during dilated's set...then after the show phonte and darien brockington were over by the merch booth...phonte was sellin shit and darien brockington was just chillin

Devin the Dude has gotta be the most down to earth rapper i've ever seen. that fool hung around and made sure everyone got a chance to get a pic with him, get his signature, share a few words. He was the last one to leave the place! I seen him on feb 11th. Best experience ever at a hip hop show. That's a down to earth ass dude.
