Most of Dipset's slang annoys me, especially that "no homo" and "doggie" shit.  But I would have to agree that "nigga" is probably my least favorite word in hip-hop, not because I don't use it myself, but just because it's become overused to the point where it's acceptable even for white kids to say it.  I gotta admit that when N.W.A. first said it, it seemed kinda empowering at the time, but nowadays, I wish they'd never introduced it, and I think hip-hop would be better off without it.

That's Five-Percenter slang - remember that they refer to each other as "Gods" ("What up, G?" originally meant "What up, God?", not "What up, gangsta?", contrary to popular belief).  So you probably shouldn't listen to any rappers who are 5%ers if you don't like that stuff - it's very much a part of their personas.

I dunno about you, but I ain't heard anyone using that term in a while...that word pretty much died out years ago when Cash Money's brand of Southern rap declined in popularity.  Seems you're a little behind the times, homie.
