OUt of the couple of guys that most feel will or should be Main event. Carlito, Kennedy and Orton i realy dont like.
My personal favorites to be Future or soon to MAin event are Shelton Benjamin, Nitro, Cm Punk

You must be like the opposite of me or something.  You must be Bizarro Trauma.  Shelton, Nitro, and CM Punk do NOTHING for me.  Carlito and Kennedy are the shit and with Hogan giving Orton the rub I'm starting to like him too.

Hardy better go to Smackdown

When Hogan got in the ring and beat up the fake Hogan, you could see the crowd was concerned. That's why they all got quiet. Very strange segment indeed. The whole feud is weird. Orton is lame and nobody is really into it except to see Hogan.

that fake hogan fucked up several times....including being tossed on the floor

I'm not positive, but I do believe that the fake Hogan is actually a close friend of Hogan's.  I actually met him at a house show once.  LOL.

If you watch any show Hogan has ever been on, look front row, on the camera side, right in the center.  There's a dude who dresses like Hogan every show that Hogan is on.  He travels around to any thing Hogan does... if you read Hogan's book, when he fought the rock, he got in town late... when he arrived, he couldn't go to bed because Linda Hogan had found this guy downstairs and offered to let him come up to the room and sleep (they'd known him for so long).  He's at every Hogan show... he wasn't there last night, because he was in the ring last night.

I met the guy at a houseshow out in the fucking parking lot, lol.  He was at the time doing the same exact thing for the Insane Clown Posse... they paid him to go to every Nitro that they were at, and give out t-shirts, and dress up like them, and be on t.v. in the middle of the front row.  He seemed like a really cool dude, we talked about Hulk a little bit but he was too busy trying to 1. buy drugs, and 2. give away free ICP shirts.

I feel the same way. Shelton, CM Punk, and Nitro have the athleticism and great ring work, but they lack the persona. Especially Shelton, the guy is terrible on the mic. They'll all make it in the long run like Edge did, but none of them will ever be HUGE stars.

Carlito and Kennedy are the future of the business, definitely. They both have ring talent and great characters. Orton, on the other hand, I  feel ya. I don't see what is so great about him at all. He does nothing for me. And unless he's really cleaned up his act, he'll be working gymnasiums for the rest of his life.

Let's see: Foley, Hogan, Flair, HHH, Benoit, Undertaker, HBK etc. etc. etc. have all given him the rub and put him over, and people still aren't really feeling him. Dude is a bust IMO.

his still only 26, but it is time for him to start showing that those pushes are starting to pay off. He has everything to be a natural heel, and he can't pull it off. I'm waiting. I wouldn't dump him, I wouldn't call him a bust, but I'd stop having people put him over. I'd let him settle in the mid card, like IC or US champ, until he can hold his own, and get his own heat to become a main eventer.

Like M Dogg said, You're leaving out 1 big factor in your equation: his age.  He has a great physique, decent mike skills, he's fairly athletic and average in the ring.  He's also a third generation wrestler.... but being so young, I can kind of overlook his cocky attitude and his overall greeness.  Kenendy and Carlito, Benjamin, Nitro, and CM Punk are probably all more talented than him in the ring, but he's still an extremely young third generation wrestler.  He's worth taking a chance on, and all of these wrestlers wouldn't have worked with him if there wasn't something there.

Very true. Above all Vince knows best for the most part, and he's sticking with Orton.

Anyone see how uncomfortable michaels looked when they were talking about the devil on raw, it's funny how they're pushing this dx thing even though he's against pretty much everything they originally stood for,

sad thing is, he probably wont be complaining very much about it anymore...they re-signed him to a new contract where he makes i think 1.5 million a year (which is kickass for a wrestler); dunno how long its for though

btw, i read there might keep the SS and DX stables going on longer than they originally planned

... really the DX thing is kind of played out.  They weren't so huge in the beginning because they were perverts, they were huge because they were different.  Now, they're no longer different... they're just retreading water they sailed nearly 10 years ago.  Saying a few off color phrases doesn't make them what they once were.  I've felt like Michaels likely does now before... it's kind of crazy going along with things you don't really have your heart in.  If you step back and think about it though, it's not a great gimmick, the whole "I got two words for ya; suck it!" isn't even funny; it's not clever, it's not even extreme or out of the ordinary.  It's just immature.  He's not going to burn in hell for saying immature shit on television, but just like he's spiritually changed and matured, he's a much more mature man now than he was 7 or 8 years ago; he's got kids, he's married, and he's on t.v. telling 60 year old men to 'suck it' ?  It's just kind of silly.

HBK and HHH are both different men then they were back then. I wouldn't call the gimmick completely pointless though. Raw has had steady ratings throughout the summer, when the ratings drop. Only Summerslam will tell if the DX thing was really successful. I'm just still amazed HBK came back since he has fused discs in his back. He's barely lost a step and still takes bumps like a champ. Gotta give it to him.
