Busta Rhymes Road Manager Arrested

It appears that even if you're not really a rapper, just down with the crew, that you may still believe you're above the law. At a Valentines Day Busta Rhymes show in El Paso, Texas, Edgar Clarke, road manager for Busta was arrested after assaulting a plain clothes police officer. Apparently, two plain-clothes officers from the EL Paso Police Department were sent to 'monitor' the show that was going at the Far West Rodeo. While monitoring the event, the officers were confronted by Clarke. The officers explained that they heard there might have been a possible confrontation between those fans attending the show and they were there to monitor the safety of the concertgoers.

According to a police report, Clarke returned with other individuals and confronted the officers again and assaulted one by pushing him and choking him. The report also claims that Clarke assaulted the female by pulling her and when Far West Rodeo security arrived to assist the officers, they were also assaulted. At that time, several other plain-clothes officers ran in and helped place Clarke in custody. When escorting Clarke out, entourage member William Lewis tried to block the entrance and he was also placed under arrest. Clarke was put in jail and later released on a 00 bond while Lewis was released on a 0 bond.
