I think Outkast had the best 3 classic albums anyways!! 

Outta those four guys, I'd just pick Nas (with those exact albums). Jay-Z is so-so, some may feel the listed 3 are classic, but I wouldn't.

Busta? Darkman? Hell no, not 3 albums, although very tight shit throughout their careers.

I'm thinking Outkast (obviously, mentioned before plenty of times.)

Ice Cube with AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted, Death Certificate and Lethal Injection.

DJ Quik has four classics: Quik Is the Name, Safe + Sound, Rythymalism and Balance & Options. Plus, in my humble opinion, Trauma will be considered as a classic in a few years. Say what you say. I don't think the great audience hasn't yet grasped the full greatness of that album. Just my opinion.

Then Pac - 7 Day Theory, All Eyez On Me and Me Against the World.

But when it comes to me, there are many many CD's in my shelf that I hold near and dear and are classic to me, but wouldn't be considered classic by the collective that is "hip-hop heads".

That's the problem. Too many people are putting their personal opinion in front of the question. If I went by opinon, then I'd agree with a bunch of the albums people have been naming. Quik might of had 4, if it was based soley on how good people think an album is. But you have to ask yourself what effect did it have on hip hop and will people be playing these albums 10 years from now. It's Dark and Hell is Hot fits that criteria. Great Depression and Grand Champ don't IMO.

Yeah Outkast's albums definatly look like they are/will be classics.

I will definitely co-sign Outkast and Tribe Called Quest. Tribe doesn't really get the props they deserve because they dont have the visibility alot of other artists on this list do, but the three albums already mentioned are some of the best in hip-hop EVER. Don't sleep.

The fact that AEOM is already considered one of the best albums in history and people are still argueing over which of his 3 albums (AEOM, MTDK7DT, MATW) are the best, proves that all 3 are classics IMO.
