It actually happened: "MJ Unit - The Takeover"
« on: April 24, 2006, 04:40:46 PM »
DJ Whoo Kid is releasing, in joint conjunction with 2 Seas Records (Michael Jackson's new record label he's starting) and G-Unit/Interscope records, "MJ Unit -- The Takeover", a new mixtape.

The first track is called "Trial of the Century" and features Michael Jackson, 50 Cent, Lucy Diamonds, and Whoo Kid.

Michael's contributing 5 unreleased songs of his own, and there's going to be a bunch of his old school tracks remixed with people like 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Mase, Young Buck, and Mobb Deep.  They're also trying to get Jay Z to appear on the mixtape.

Also, Michael Jackson is releasing his first single from his new album in November called "Now That I've Found Love" featuring Lucy Diamonds.  It's co-produced by Michael Jackson and Bruce Sweiden, the man who was lead engineer on Thriller and co-produced "Dangerous".

Just when I thought MJ had hit rock bottom... he tries to reinvent himself by working with the currently biggest label in hiphop.
He was F'ing with Jay-Z for a little while some time back, but nothing great came out of it, we'll see.

It's a smart move. G-Unit's momentum is still strong. We can all judge the quality of the tracks IF they come out.

50 isn't worthy of working with MJ.  Jigga is another story.  And sorry Jome, I don't see an M.O.P. / MJ collabo happening.

MJ hollered at dre when Invincible was in the works and Dre refused.  Maybe he'll change his tune - but I don't think Dre would do it because he'd never be completely satisfied with the song.  Plus, his R&B catalogue is no where near his Hip Hop catalogue.  Basically, if anything less than amazing came out of the collabo it would be dissappointing.

One child abuser in a womans body with a womans voice, and two loudmouthed gorilla stomptheshitoutya thugs, would be a natural match...  :'(  :D
