i dont think his skin colour makes a difference.

Jesus has been painted dark in complexion alot, since in Czestochowa (a holy place in Poland, many people have been cured of disease/illness) the world famous painting of Mary and Jesus stained itself black one night, the stain was irremovable or something... they left it since and many of the same painting have been re-drawn with the darker complexion...

also i think back in the days it would be very difficult for a man living in poverty to have pale skin.

neither was he as white as painted nor was he black. how hard is it to understand that he probably just looked like ppl in his area looked like at that time? rappers always claiming he was as black as they are is ignorant, narcistic, little bit racist and disrespectful. Im quite sure he looked pretty  similiar to those ppl in this area, skin tone of a terrorist you could say, so hicks get an idea.

I think Jesus was dark skinned, most jews around that area were (and some still are).

The popular image of Jesus is a likeness of one of the Pope's sons.  To me it doesn't really matter how people paint him, whatever makes them comfortable... but I doubt any of the paintings accurately reflect the glow and wisdom he possed, even if you don't believe he's the son of god he apparently was a very intelligent and thoughtful man.

Here's a "A hypothetical reconstruction of someone from the same time and place of Jesus, created by forensic artist Richard Neave."

Jesus wasn't white because it was nearly impossible for someone in the Mid East to be pale at that time.

He was Jewish. He had Jewish characteristics. If you look at the early portraits of him, they show a darker skin man with brown hair.

Is God
White
Brown, Green, Red
Or even Blue
Is he American
Arabic, Mexican
Or even Jew
Everybody wanna be the special
And wanna be the chosen few

And I say that
Cause I know Jesus Christ
And God is Black

Plain and simple, Jesus was white. Now end the discussion.
