KILLA SEASON ON PACE TO SELL 150k-160k ITS FIRST WEEK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ONE-DAY SALES REPORT: Looking at the albums that came out Tuesday, Cam'ron’s Killa Season soundtrack (Asylum/Diplomatic Man) has a big lead in the early going, as it trends toward the 150k-160k ’hood with a strong first day. That means the controversial MC has a shot at wresting the top spot on next week’s chart from WB’s Red Hot Chili Peppers, depending on how big a drop the double album experiences in week two. Trying to close the gap is onetime teen idol Ashley Parker Angel (Universal), who’s on track to sell 75k-80k. At this point, the tightest race among this week’s bows is for third place, with Island/IDJ’s Hoobastank and Christina Milian and V2’s The Raconteurs (featuring the White Stripes’ Jack White and pal Brendan Benson) all looking 50k-ish. But things could change; in fact, they always do. So watch this space for updates. (5/17)
