Cam'ron has done over 110,000 first week which aint to bad but Island def jam fuck up again with christina millians album doin just 50,000 and ron isley droppin by 63% in the second week this joins a list of recent def jam flops such as

are record sales really an indication of an albums quality? personally, i thought the fishscale album was one fo the best of the year..........i know the numbesr dictate jay z's job future, but record sales as a whole are on a rapid decline, what with all the downloading that goes on..........for an indy album those numbers are good for cam..........but he has had plenty of promotion, constant adds for his album on mtv 2 and mtv jams.......he's a hustler, I'll give him that........but too much emphasis is made about record sales.......this hip hop people, not pop music...........dont you think thats one of the main problems with hip hop nowadays, how corprate its become?
