Quik sent this out as a bulletin on MySpace today:


im hooking up my MPC3000 and im about to make some face~warpin music.
the beats that make you let it all go...!
To ALL My Producer friends: there is nothing better than sampling kicks and snares (and hihats)
from vinyl. sampling from CDs is not the same, even if you sample from the same song!
dig yall records back out and make history. ...P-Funk, Uncut Funk.....

hell yeah, quik gonna take it back to sampling that good oldschool music.  90's rap was so damn good because so much of it sampled so many classic songs.
