Can you describe what makes him a sell out? I do believe he sold out but not until the 90s, but my opinion is based on actual knowledge of the music he had made.

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

If you already know he's a sell-out, then you shouldn't need me to explain it to you.  If you want my thoughts, then refer to the Nikki Giovanni quote.  The reason I quoted her is because she said something I agree with.

Eminem never sold out.  He actually retired to prevent himself from selling out.  He was smart enough to hang it up once he had nothing real to give.
