* The spokesperson for pop singer Michael Jackson, Raymone Bain, has said that the singer, currently a resident of Bahrain, is planning on moving to Europe next year and will also release a brand new album.
* Bain said, "Mr Jackson, who is currently in Ireland on personal business, plans on relocating to Europe in the near future," and of a new album: "Mr Jackson has previously announced plans to record an album which he predicts will be released in 2007."
* It was not determined where in Europe Jackson will live.

The latest on Michael is that these talks of a new album are very serious, it's basically already all plotted out and Michael's done some recording for it already.  Teddy Riley is set to jet to Bahrain next month and spend the whole month recording songs with Michael.  Michael's already booked locations in Brazil to film a music video in August, too.

Quincy Jones would likely work with Michael again, but Michael's got a pretty big ego and likely doesn't want Q telling him what to do anymore.

----  Quincy said that the way he sequenced Thriller with Michael was, he recorded tons of songs, then picked the top 12.  Out of the 12, he isolated the 4 that he thought were the best, and the 4 that he thought were the weakest, but still in the top 12 out of everything they did.... then, he cut the middle 4 out!  He said he cut songs that were actually better than some of the stuff on Thriller, but left in P.Y.T., Human Nature, Beat It, and the Lady In My Life which he called the 4 weakest songs... because he feels that by doing something like that, you craft a roller coaster of an album that flows better than if you just threw the absolute 8 best songs on there.  That's crazy.

lol, that IS crazy...

I'd love to heat a Quincy Michael collaboration again. They gotta make it happen one more time at least.

Great to hear that Teddy is involved, they're a legendary duo.  The shitty thing about the Q situation is the fact that Michael nor anyone is above constructive critcism.  Let's face it, Invincible was way below MJ standards, and he needs somebody in there pushing him and perfecting his work.

great post.. it's always fun to read about the old classics.

MJ is one of the best singers ever, and QJ may be the best producer ever..

and that is why micheal wont never come back to full stardom unless he learns to listen again, noone is ever to big to be dissed once in a while by your producer......
