Speed Dreamin A Warren G Colab Classic?
« on: January 11, 2002, 05:38:05 AM »
There have been great colab's in the past that have really stuck out:

Warren G And Malik – Whats Nxet  (check the song.  Warren spells it wrong)
Dre And Snoop - Nuthin But A G Thang
Luniz - I Got Five On
Snoop And Kurupt - Ride On / Caught Up
Etc.

These songs seem to showcase a superb talent for "MIC exchange” The art of givin up the fuckin MIC at precisely the right time!!!  I dig good MIC Exchange.  Outkast is sick at it too.  Anyway.

Anyway, listen to this track and FF to 3:00 when Grimm starts to rap.  Listen at how he gives the MIC back to Warren and Warren back to Grimm.   THIS IS CLASSIC MIC EXCHANGE.

Do ya’ll consider this one of the best exchanges?  What are your thoughts?  Thanks ya'll.  Keep it West!

Hell yea, Hell yea..  Gotta take note when real MC's give it up, not on just one verse, but on the exchange.  Love to hear em mix it up.

Oh yea.. "DOOOOGGGPOOOUND!!!"  (had to get my "scream" in for ya BP)

Speed Dreamin is true mic exchange-classic. If it wadn't for the voice, you'd probably think that Mr. Grimm and Warren G was the same person. Nine in ovahdrive.

Yeah homie, i feel you. We talked about it when the cd was leaked on the net, remember it? Btw the best MIC Exchange track is still

TEAR DROPS AND CLOSED CASKETS - 2Pac & Outlawz

Check it again. It's fanstastic! It's even hard to recognize em all, cause they looks like 1 person, while they 6 in this song!

Plus Nate's hook is classic! Check it and holla!
