Pac is by far the GOAT and he is at legend/icon status like Bob Marley, Shakespeare, Malcomn X, Rumi, and so on. (not that I like Shakespeare, Shakespeare was wack as hell but his name is legendary like Pac's)

Most of 2Pac's music bores me now. It's good from time to time, but his Death Row discography is over-rated, and a lot of it was rushed to churn out as much as possible, you can tell with the 1 take, with sneezing, and coughing on the background to some of the songs. Even heard on the Still I Rise album for instance.

I don't know how most (even Pac fans) can overlook his earlier material. Papaz Song, Pain, Soulja's Story, Lord Knows (one of Pacs best IMO) Hellrazor and loads more

the songs you listed and even more than that are my favorite tracks and they are pre-DR, so his pre-DR material isnīt overlooked by tha people who feel his music

like i said before maybe pac wasnt a greatest rapper, better to say an MC but he was an icon. 2pac is deeper than this rap-shit, his whole persona was something big.
....and keep in mind he was only 25 when he died, so most of the things he said, rapped and wrote where when he was in his early 20īs, 21,22,23,etc. and i gotta admit he was damn inteligent..look at people in their 20īs now..itīs a muthafuckin shame.i hope you feel me.

what about violent off 2pacNow. that is one of dopest tracks on the album else then part time mutha,trapped ,brenda got a baby, & if my  homies call. 2pacNow is more of political album then any of his other albums .

Pac improved with each album.  I don't get into his first album much, and there are some classic cuts on Strictly 4 My Niggaz and Thug Life but to be honest I actually bump a few of his posthumous albums like R U Still Down, Still I Rise, and Until the End of Time, much more than those first 3 albums.

2pac kept getting better and better and reached the peak of his carear in the summer of 96.  Thats what makes his case so legendary is that he died at his highest point, with All Eyez On Me and Mackevelli The Don dominating and changing the face of music history.

Alot of people are personally connected to the Me Against The World album and Im one of those people, it holds a lot of sentimental value but its not his magnum opus.

i agree to an extent but he's not g.o.a.t. and his last two albums didn't change hip hop history they were both great contributions in 96 though.

sorry to tell you this blue magic but by fact 2pac is a goat & their is nothing you can do or say that can change that fact at all. 2pacs last 2 albums shaped hip hop history & are an important part of hip hop history . blue magic you come off like a 2pac hater .

Don't compare any rapper to Pac. Now i'm no religious guy but i seriously believe he is the reincarnation of Jesus Christ. How else can you explain his deep and inspiring lyrics. Go listen to whatz yo phone number before you compare him to your average rappers.

i agree with the talk about Pacs first 2 albums, listening to them now, with the exception of a few tracks, they havent dated well at all imo...

whoever mentioned Scarface and Masta Ace were on point tho, only a handful of artists around with a consistently dope catalogue over a long period of time
