I remember this album called It Was Written, and another one called I Am... that both seemed very simular to this album Nas is putting out. His done the Illmatic, and the Stillmatic, not his going back to It Was Written Nas, the Nas that had Lauryn Hill on the hook, and another song had Dre on the beat, which was not a great song at all.

Will is also executive producing Macy Gray's album, which is due in February on Will.I.Am Music Group, and has four songs — including the title track — on Nas' Hip-Hop Is Dead ... The N due next month. Plus he's got five tracks on Kelis' Kelis Was Here, due Monday.

What the hell is Nas thinking? I guess the simple answer is that he's not. How are you going to release a double disc bashing everything that's wrong and then sign with your archrival only to turn around and put out what you so openly hated? That is just disgusting to me. You would think that if any two artists would understand the importance of a signing like Nas to Def Jam it would be Nas and Jay-Z. Jay's too focused on making money nowadays. He could care less about the quality, it's all about quantity for dude.
