Remember When I Told Ya DJ Quik Was Recording With Domino In Portland?

When DJ Quik was in concert here a few months back he said that he had just gotten done recording a track with Domino in a Portland studio for a secret project. I thought maybe he was just emphasizing the word "secret" to get our attention or whatever, but I found this interview on youtube (it's only a couple minutes long) but he brings up that project, talking about how it's still a "secret" project and he still doesn't want anyone to know about it yet. Just thought I'd share this clip since the thought is back in my head now of this project he's speaking of :)

I'm pretty sure that project is on hold for the time being, but I can't wait to hear it when it comes out.

Damn, has it really been that long?!? Crazy. Good to hear that Quik is hooking up with some vets. Nothing but respect for Quik for constantly maintaining his connection to the west coast.
