the justify my thug beat was sick...maybe not his best...but a great beat

I was so excited when i heard Quik was working with Jay, and was shocked to hear that he gave him a beat like Justify my Thug.  Most people considered it the weakest song on the album next to the horrible Change CLothes

anyone that thinks "Justify My Thug" is weak wouldnt know good rap if it hit them in the face.

Judging by what you consider to be "good rap"?  Man, NOONE on the east coast liked Justify My thug, especially that weak ass Madonna-esque hook!  Quik is capable of MUCH more, i thought that was his chance to blow up, let the rest of the world know what we been knowing all along, that Quik is DOPE.  Instead, he gives him that horrible beat, and noone (except Chingy) wants QUik to produce for them now.........

right now Timbo´s a beast, but his overall catalog will never even come close to Dre´s and that´s the truth. but Timbo´s produced songs for too many wack artists and that kinda takes away from his super beats. and someone slap the shit outta him and every other producer out there that just have to get on the hooks or talk on the songs and dumb shit like that.

Uh, I say the track sucks and I'm not even really feeling Cube or DPG(especially Cali is Active) like that these days, so what the fuck are you talking about.  


And to guys who say Timbo's catalogue will never touch Dre's, you are absolutely right.  Timbaland is far better suited for R&B anyway, cuz when he does rap he mainly works with wack-average rappers (although his work on Deliverance made Bubba quite good actually).

And yes, that Timbaland and Magoo shit is WACKKKKKKK!  Its weird, kinda like Pharrell, dude can easily make hits for everyone but himself???!!!

And i like TImbo on the tracks, his singing voice is kinda tight on Promiscuos Girl, and i'd rather hear him than Lil John or Jazze Pha..........

And Missy is probably my LEAST favourite hiphop related artist, i'd way rather Timbo work with Furtado

After hearing the JT album, I must say that DJ Quik can go home and work some more on his beats, Timbaland is on another level, Quik will never be as innovative as this.
Right now, there's no one in hiphop or r'n'b even close to seeing him.
