"DPG EULOGY" 9/1/2006
« on: August 30, 2006, 05:02:21 PM »
(Atlanta, Georgia)-August 24, 2006-The long awaited DPG documentary titled
"DPG Eulogy" will make its debut on Pay-Per-View, Starz, Vongo.com, and
Comcast on September 1, 2006. Daz Dillinger is the Creator and the
executive producer. This documentary gives its viewers a real in depth
and personal account on the prolific history that Daz, Snoop Dogg and the
entire Dogg Pound brand. These historical events start with a
chronological account from 13 years ago, where all the Dogg Pound members
take you on a very funny and interesting roller coaster ride. Daz
Dillinger explains why he decided to create this documentary. "This isn't
the only documentary that will be out. I really want the urban community
and everyone to really take a very intimate look at our personal life and
struggles to find out not just about me but as me as an artist. I hope
that this can be an inspiration. I love creating so this won't be the last
film that I create." Daz Dillinger plans on not making this a last
attempt in the film industry he plans on expanding his enterprise.

The DPGC Eulogy will have so many different angles. Shemia Miller, Vice
President of Publicity explains, "This documentary will really be a
historical documentary to see. You get to see how the DPGC brand emerged.
In addition to that, you get to learn how to have longevity as a group.
They are a long standing group that had realistic ups and downs and life
stories that are inspirational and down right funny. You will love this
documentary." The DPGC Eulogy is only the beginning as Daz Dillinger
plans on capturing the new artists that are also on his new label G.A.R.
This documentary helps anyone get a better understanding of what growing
up and struggling to get to a place of power is, it also gives a view of
rare footage of not only Snoop, Daz, but the entire DPGC community.

The DPGC Eulogy lets everyone know from start to finish their beginning.
This documentary has appeared before test markets and those who gravitated
towards this documentary were not only the urban market but the
mainstream. Ms. Miller reveals, "There were five different consumers that
were excited about this documentary when polled: 1)Those who were
interested in Daz, Snoop, the DPGC brand, 2)Those who described themselves
as rising artists, 3)Those who wanted to see what it is like to survive
the hardships of the music industry, 4)Those who were rising artists who
were also in a group, and finally 5)Those who were interested in being
entertained with humor and inspiration." This documentary is a very
wonderful debut for Daz Dillinger.

I believe I got it from ebay, but I guess Daz released it for a short amount of time in very low quantities, but then it was pulled for some reason.....incase you're not familiar with it, I snapped a few quick pics of the front, back, and dvd itself:
