While I think rap beefs are played out, dissing someone subliminaly is a good way to do it, and the only way it should be done.

The possibilty that Hittman was dissing CJ Mac on 2001 was interseting too me and it got me wondering if anybody else ever dropped subliminals ( like Jay & Nas did for years before Takeover/Ether ).

Anyone ever catch one?

Shit it could be from anysong.

Im just wondering if anybody else picked up subliminals from any song that others wouldnt have noticed.

Example: Tech N9ne "Planet Rock" sounds like he's going at 3-6 Mafia.

Nelly - #1 (at least Kris thought it was aimed at him)
Gail Gotti - Gangstress (singing the chorus from It's Over and a few other remarks obviously aimed at Natina)
Petey Pablo - Suge Got Shot (going at Game???)

I'm sure there's plenty of others, these just came to mind...

Im glad I wasnt the only one who thought this too.

I always thought Too Short was dissing the Luniz in 95-97 era.

Yeah that "boy you look good on the cover of that XXL" really did it (Game had just appeared on the XXL cover around that time)...

And what about Master P vs Luniz? I think The Luniz made a few comments about a certain ice cream man around that same time...

And all because of that Pen and Pixel designed cover in which an ice cream truck is being blown up...

Was that it? I always thought it was becuase P blew up with that "Ice Cream Man" song 4 years after the Luniz/DD collabo of the same name.

"Shame on a nigga/for tryna steal a name from a nigga/Ice Cream Man put fame to a nigga/I figure by now that nigga should been done broke off skrilla for stealing that shit/but until then I'm killin' that bitch" Yuk "Killaz on the Payroll" off Thug Lord

^^^ Damn, that's some cold shit. Biggie also sounds like he's dissing Nas and someone else ( possibly Wu-Tang? ) on "kick in the door".

Hmm that also could be it... I remember reading an article about Pen and Pixel a long time ago and it also talked about the origin of the P - Luniz beef, that ice cream truck cover was brought up as being the reason for it... but the article could be wrong ofcourse...

^^ Ya I'm pretty sure it's because Yuk felt that P stole from him and used it to blow up.
