Whats The Best Football Video Game...?

I love my PS2 and I love the games for it, so for all you guys out there with PS2's, Xbox's and Gamecubes or even if you're a PC gamer, what is the best SIMULATED FOOTBALL game on the market? To me, it has to be Madden Football, it comes out in August for PS2, Xbox, GC, and PC ... and they're planning huge things for their PS2 version, their PS2 version will be playable online, so I'll be able to kick anyone's ass in the game, you will be able to download rosters off the net (useful, if teams sign free agents or trade players, you could then download those exact rosters), I love fantasy football that you can play online, but this way would be awesome because you could determine the outcome... ooo wee, my cowboys baby!!! anyway, is Madden the best football game or what.... other games include NFL Fever (xbox) NFL Quarterback Club, NFL Gameday (PS2),  I can't wait for this game to come out... oh and by the way... PS2 will have the only online version of Madden 2003... PC won't even have it....

all the ea sports games except for the NHL series are going downhill

I would get NFL 2k3 for simulated (commin out in August)
but NFL Blitz is more funner for non simulated

It's also the biggest sports worldwide, and yes Fifa Soccer is awesome, I own FIFA 2001, FIFA 2002 & FIFA WORLD CUP, all of them are awesome, but were tallking American Football here, not Soccer

Yo, damn y'all seem to be EA sports dickriders.

Fifa is nowhere near being the best soccer game, and gets it's ass kicked by Pro Evolution Soccer, ISS, and even the Virtua Striker series.

Also I would certainly prefer to play the Sega NFL games to Madden anyday.

EA sports sucks,all their games are pure crap except maybe theyre football games but they still arent that good,id nfl fever or segas football games over EA's anyday,but ima buy  NCAA football 2003 when it comes out,college football is all EA does right

/\ we're talking about Madden football, not EA Sports, and personally, its the best selling American Football Game and most succesfull, you can tell me that sales don't matter, but it doesn't sell for nothing... NFL 2K2, NFL Fever, NFL "insert word here" all get shunned by Madden... I've played most NFL games and prefer madden no doubt
