It's important to vote...it's gonna change society either way.  People shouldn't complain about what's happening if they didn't vote.
They have no right to voice anything if they didn't vote in general.

Talk about being brainwashed. One single vote doesn't really make any difference at all, but I just happen to vote because it doesn't take much time or anything. To me, it's more about the psychology behind the vote. Malcolm X said it best; you get to chose between the fox and the wolf. Will you vote for the wolf, who's openly putting you in danger, or the slick fox, who will pull you some tricks behind your back? I just like to think I've done anything I could to keep the awareness alive... And that's why I always vote for the wolf.

me being brainwashed? hey, it's not about winning the vote...  even if you don't win the vote..it DOES make a lot of difference when u do vote.
U hear people complaining and all...plus two canidates may be bad..but it's life.
again, back to complaining part...
I'm just saying that if you participate in voting, you have the right to complaining...

if ya voted last time..and didn't vote for bush and wanted kerry to win.and still bush won....it's all good..but hey you participated and you have that american voice to criticize on the person.
my thing is this: u voice your particiatpion.

Suffice to say that is true (no pun intended) but you guys also had a third option an independent whose name has escaped me. So you do have a choice, ok he was never going to get voted in but if he had have received more votes, people would have sat up and took notice. I agree with the other aspect though, voting locally is perhaps more important. at least it is easier to hold them to account.
