haha already heard the Imagine track the other night, amazing track. got a preview of some other dre/snoop collabos too  :o

Dre rappin' wit' Snoop on all of 'em ? or just production?

heard a COLD ass snoop and kam song over dre prod., but it'll never come out due to its extreme content. and heard 'imagine'

Dre song not coming out ? Shocker. I wouldnt be surprised if Imagine doest make the cut either. In the end Dre will probably give Snoop some throaway 2001 beat.

What's so "extreme" about the Snoop/Kam song Justin?

basically just the extremely violent lyrical content. Snoop and Kam were up for it, but Dre i dont think feels comfortable releasing it.

If all of this is true, this album is likely to have quite a few bangers!

I hope the Snoop/Kam-track will get released though.

Kinda miss those violent tracks from Snoop. As funny as that sounds. I remember damn near having chills when Murder Was The Case came out. Snoop is really a underrated storyteller when it comes to songs. I hope it makes the cut. If not put it on Warzone. Should fit right in on that album.

UPDATE:

Among many of its claims to fame, Dr. Dre's 1992 classic LP The Chronic introduced the world to Snoop Dogg. Now, the pair reunite on Snoop's new album The Blue Carpet Treatment, their first collaboration in almost five years. The good Doctor produced five songs on the record, including "Imagine."

The Blue Carpet Treatment will also feature cameos from Nate Dogg and Ne-Yo, according to Billboard. Previously announced guests on the record include R. Kelly, Stevie Wonder, The Game and Ice Cube. The album lands in stores on November 21, and is the follow-up to 2004's R&B (Rhythm & Gangsta): The Masterpiece, which featured the hit "Drop It Like It's Hot."

As previously reported, Snoop will release an animated DVD, The Adventures of Blue Carpet Treatment, to go along with the album. The DVD will feature videos to accompany the album plus new songs tied together by a story line. AOL Music says the DVD will be R rated. The clip for the song "Getting Heavy" reportedly contains nudity and explicit sex scenes. However, Cartoon Network and Adult Swim are reported to be in talks for the broadcast premiere.
