Next month the legendary hip hop group X-Clan returns with a new album, called "Return To Mecca". Dubcnn sat down with X-Clan member Brother J for an exclusive interview.

A big chunk of the Dubcnn audience might now be too familiar with X-Clan, so we talked on what the X-Clan is; we discussed the group's foundations and what they are all about. Brother J goes in depth on why he wouldn't wanna go into politics, on how the death of X-Clan founder Professor X affected him and those around him and on touring with Jurassic 5.

The new album "Return To Mecca", which is scheduled to be released on October 31st, will have productions from many West Coast producers. We talked on that and on how the DJ Quik collaboration came about.
