One of the newer artists on the West coast, who is affiliated with Death Row, just dropped his mixtape, which I thought was going to come out a while ago, but it's available now, free from his DJ (DJ Fokis)'s website.  Some of the tracks are featured on his myspace page and Big los's myspace page, but a lot of them are new.  Time to talk about some new artists on here.

i like the music, a lot of the beats, and the shit warlord is spitting

but there is 2 things particular i dont like about the mixtape:
1) why is the quality so shitty? i might be a lil spoiled, but today im expecting a street album when i download a mixtape...  this means nice quality music... in cd-quality... i mean this shouldnt be a problem for a death row artist?!? i know artists not even having a deal, grinding real hard, but are still able to record a full street album in crystal clear quality!! shoutout to akadimik!
2) i dont like those mixtapes with 20+ songs with 10 songs around 1:30mins length...

i rather enjoy listening to full quality songs where new artists proove they are able to do a nice record, do a full album with tracks that have a concept and are original
instead of spitting a few verses over know beats just to show one got flow
to me this is out of date

i mean what do you expect us to do with a mixtape like this?
listening to it once and noticing "yeah, that cat got talent" and then put it away
isnt it better if someone thinks your music is so hot and high quality that he'll put it in the car and listen to it like its the doggystyle album from track 1 till 18, song by song, from the beginning to the end..

and sorry, but i cant do this with this mixtape, even though i noticed warlord can spit

i guess i rather prefer high quality street albums, thats the thing...

That's why i'm looking forward to his album cause it won't have these problems.So i'm hoping it will be released next year.

Already got alotta tracks from this one but I can't wait to hear the full tape! I agree with DPG4life, some of the tracks are a bit short but Warlord can definitely spit... It just remains to be seen whether an actual album will be released... Personally I'd rather see Petey dropping his Death Row debut first seeing as he's already an established artist, that Same Eyez On Me will definitely bring more attention to Tha Row!

Fuck what ya heard, Death Row ain't going nowhere... Next up: Lakey The Kid...

I read on the makaveli.net board his album is 98% done and volume 2 is supposed to be songs that didn't make the final cut.
