It would be pretty ironic if after what 3 or 4 years of the cards being the favorite to win the world series they actualy win this year were they stumbled down the stretch losing what something like 15 of their last 17 games and having a very average season at best and playing in a weak division actualy scratch that a weak national  league.

Glavine was amazing tonight.  The Mets are looking great, they havnt let these recent injurys get to them.

the loss of pedro is over rated.  The mets have been doin it since mid may without pedro.  Sure you would love to have pedro in there but like i said espn and other media outlets act like  we have pedro the whole season and we havnt.  2morrow is goin be rough tho facing chris carpenter.

im pretty sure the cards won last night.  i got shit faced so when the cards took a 7-6 lead i passed out.  But the cards are goin win the series.  The mets go on carpenter early and had a lead twice.  Where goin lose the series.  It was fun while it lasted

2-2 now, with a good shot of rain 2morrow.  Tommy G may get his full rest after all.  So far this has been the best series of the playoffs
