Prince Opens Las Vegas Nightclub

Prince is to open a nightclub in Las Vegas, it has been announced.

He will apparently relaunch the Rio hotel as a venue next month, hosting his own shows plus concerts by acts signed to his NPG record label.

A new flash presentation at the website--www.3121.com--presents the future of the building, featuring a stream of acts including Prince, who look set to appear at the venue.

The promoters behind his $90 million Musicology tour of 2004 are understood to be heavily involved in the venture, reports Billboard.

There is no confirmation about how often Prince will play the nightclub, which has been hosting a topless revue called Club Eroticka since February 2005.
