Maybe they've changed it, as I haven't watched BET in quite some time, but a few years back they actually let the host of that show pick their own top 25.

Yeah I saw that w/ Kobe, for the most part he had good taste.  I think he put DeadPresidents2 as the #1 video, to high IMO but a great song regardless.

THat was the best BET countdown I ever saw. All the videos were west coast, except for 3 videos from BONE and 1 from Geto Boys. It was almost entirely west coast shit.

And Game definitely picked the videos, no way BET told him to play MC Eiht "Straight Up Menace" and WEst Coast All Stars "We're All In The Same Gang".
