Its hard to say because if Snoop is King what does that make Dre? what does it make Cube? Then again when people think WEstcoast they do think Snoop Dogg so Yeah in a way he is King.

but snoop made a lot of shit and he doesn't need time to make songs
snoop had succes with the doctor
but on chronic and 2001 snoop was helped dre to make songs hits - still dre, next episode, nuthin but a g thang........

nah, I used to think so as far as business and all, but he just sucks at being involved in albums

he's certainly not the best rapper although he stepped it up for TBCT

right now there is no King of the West.... but as far as trying maybe Snoop is, I don't know

Snoop is the King of the Westcoast, Cube is his vice-King (and he may very well be more of a King if he continues being involved in the rap game) and Dre, well Dre is beyond coasts. If you want to give him a royal title, it would be Emperor of Rap, albeit one that doesn't claim the crown. He probably doesn't feel the need to. Nevertheless, it are moments when everyone,including Snoop and Cube, tries to reach out to him for his aid, his position is indirectly, but ever so clearly, revealed.
