so far it seems they're getting over excited and that in fact several of the pre-existing methods for running gamecube stuff exist.. but also that some have been shut down.

so basically some gamecube exploits allow stuff to run.. but there are no proven "wii" benefits really..

is the wii region coded? and they use regular 4.7GB dvds right? are there any modchips out for it

japanese wiis are already available here..i was thinking of picking one up and having it modded

yes its region coded.. it seems they use regular dual layer dvds (so 9.4 gb)

of course there aren't modchips its been out under a week in one territory.

how can japanese wii's be out there when its not out in japan yet? (its out there dec 2nd)
