"Second Rounds On Me" by Obie Trice second opinion

[Layeth THe Smacketh Down]

It seems a lot of people think this album sucks, and I agreed after the first time I listened to it.  But after listening to it a second time, I found a couple of tracks that I do like, such as

Ballad Of Obie Trice
Jamaican Girl
Kill Me A Mutha
Cry Now
Mama
There They Go

And Obie Story is a great song.  Does anybody else care for this album?  It's not close to being as good as Cheers, but it still has some good songs on the album.

IMO it's a very good album and one of my favs of the year.  And also IMO I like it better than Cheers.  I like how dark this album feels.

IMO it's a very good album and one of my favs of the year.  And also IMO I like it better than Cheers.  I like how dark this album feels.

Co-sign, both Banks and Obies 2nd albums are way better than their first. Its more "them" if you know what I mean.

I really liked it. Didn't rate ANY track lower then 3/5 actually. And a handful of 4-5/5 songs. Really liked the "dark" feeling it had to it. to the guy who said Banks' 2nd is better, not IMO, his lyrics were a few notches worse then they were the 1st time around.

only truth spoken in this thread.........these niggaz can try and be mo natural all they want, aslong as they aint puttin out dope music, it dont matter....this is a garbage album, a couple of nice tracks but overall, wack.........cheers was twice the album this was and that was a weak album to imo
