D12 Calls 911 “Terrorists in the sky”, “poisonous warfare”, “My bullets come in threes like trilogies”…Those are some of the lyrics laid down on the Gorillaz/D12 collaboration track "911". The song was inspired by the terrorist attacks in the U.S. and will be available over the internet by the end of the month. "Working with D12 was a reassuring experience," says Gorillaz' member Murdoc. "I like their work ethic--turn up en masse to the studio with a whole bunch of good-looking girls, bags of grass, champagne and sweets. And just laying it down, baby." Speaking of D12, Eminem's Slim Shady alias has been made into a cartoon character. The cartoon, called The Slim Shady Show, features a hero who gives advice to his male teen fan base and uses his powers to battle Hollywood celebs and pop stars.

yea they recorded it a few weeks ago when d12 (minus eminem) were in london just after the wtc thing happenned it would've only been a day or 2 after as welll so that is y there is references to it
