It's not like the cops picked some random guy to have a stand off with. He must have done something pretty illegal. He kept threatening the cops lives, and that's what happens when you do something like that. It's unfortunate, but it's part of the job when you are a cop.

After watching the first minute and a half, the police should have no reason to assume he doesn't have a gun. Get out of here with that police brutaility bullshit.

if your running away from a cop, he cannot shoot u in the back, i think the same criteria should be used in these standoff situations.  they should wait until the gun is pointed towards them, and then shoot.  the cop's gun is already drawn anyways, and they're already aimed and ready to shoot, so its just an extra 3 seconds at most to see if a gun is drawn, or if the dude is crazy.
