The Fix, not a classic. But a great CD.

Black Album... FAR FROM CLASSIC.

If Eminem has a classic, I'd say MMLP, though I'm not sure. That's boarder, 4.5.

BE, not a classic

College Dropout, is. Why? it changed the game, it came with straight bangers, and not one single bad song. But BE and Late Reg. are not classics.

Masta Ace, give me a link... lol.

Black Album..Jay-Z retirement album..nuff said
MMLP borderline classic I agree
Be..def not a classic
But c'mon Late Registration def a classic, College Dropout had some gay songs, LR, no gay songs, but College Dropout is at least 4.5

i don't know about that, which genre has generated lots of classics lately?

as far as rock...mars volta's deloused in the comatorium and.....wilco's yankee hotel foxtrot....I feel metric's old world underground where are you now? is classic....everything Tool does is classic...Hm....it's weird...I feel what you're saying now that I had a thought train about it, with rock classics...if it's a classic, it ain't debatable...with rap ones its mad debatable....damn...some shit to think about. -T
also some old foggies were comin hard here lately

lindsey buckingham, bob dylan, elvis costello, and bruce springsting

i'd probably throw both gorillaz albums into consideration, after hip hop is done, i see this type of music taking over....ie gnarls barkley and st. elsewhere

also metal and hardcore are making a nice come back

mastodon: Leviathon, blood mountain
killswitch engage: as daylight dies
trivium:  the crusade
unearth: the strings of conscience
lamb of god: ashes of the wake; new american gospal

Masta Ace - Disposable Arts

That is also a classic.. I wont call "A Long Hot Summer" a classic though, still dope..

Damn! U read my mind!

But A Long Hot Summer is classic in my mind, songs like Beautiful and Da Grind always play, all day everyday.

F you nigguh!

What you gonna do about it! Try convincing me Champion Sound is anywhere near decent, let alone being classic material with a major influence. Good luck! Until then... BULLSHIT.

I have, plenty of times. I just keep putting it on every now and then because Madlib is a great producer and Jay Dee is an even greater producer. But that album is a nahhhh to me. So explain the greatness, explain the influence, explain the importance of that album. I don't see it, and I bet you don't see it either.

If i can hear a cd without skipping and thinking its all dope.. then its a classic to me

I don't think there is one album that came out since 2000 that is a classic.

The closest ones would be:

Supreme Clientle
The Marshal Mathers LP
The Blueprint
Stillmatic
The Fix
Be
Stankonia
Get Rich Or Die Tryin'
The Minstrel Show
