1. 2Pac - California Love [Hype Williams]
The Mad Max theme was too ill. It "was" the most expensive hip hop video released at the time. It cost between $900,000 and $1,000,000 to make. Chris Tucker was hilarious in this video and the other cameos by George Clinton and Mr. Parker from Friday was dope as well.
2. Dr. Dre - Nuthin' But A G Thang [Dr. Dre]
The shit was so ghetto but it portrayed the West Coast lifestyle perfectly. The image of lowriders, barbeques, and khaki's was stitched into mainstream America with this video.
3. Coolio - Fantastic Voyage [F. Gary Gray]
A very creative and hilarious concept. The whole Cinderella concept with the Afro sportin' fairy godfather was funny as hell. The gang of peeps coming out of the car was even funnier especially with all the different types of people.
4. Ice Cube - It Was A Good Day [F. Gary Gray]
The video fit the song perfectly. Everything from when he was playing ball to getting his balls waxed was shown in the video. The ending is my favorite part when he gets ambushed by the pigs.
5. Naughty By Nature - Hip Hop Hooray [Spike Lee]
This song and video gives me such a good vibe. Spike Lee completely captured the "positive feeling" of the song in the video. The peeps that was drumming on those plastic containers was dope as fuck. The video had hella cameos ranging from Run DMC, Queen Latifah, Monie Love, and suprisingly Eazy E.
6. Dr.Dre/Ice Cube - Natural Born Killaz [F. Gary Gray]
This  should have been a movie. The quality of this video is amazing. It's no surprise that F. Gary Gray is now directing real movies. The whole OJ concept was dope as fuck. The special effects that they took from the real movie Natural Born Killaz was incredible. That was the part when Dre and Cube's faces were moving hella fast. Also when their faces switched from boys to themselves to old men.
7. Public Enemy - Fight The Power [Spike Lee]
The march that they held was crazy. Spike Lee had brothers from all cities throughout America march while Public Enemy performed.
8. Wu-Tang Clan - Triumph [Brett Ratner]
This video was dope as hell. The special effects were excellent. The Wu transformed into Killa Beez and raided New York. This was the most expensive video at one time costing 1 million dollars. That title has been taken by Busta Rhymes' video with Ms. Janet.
9. Snoop Doggy Dogg - What's My Name [Fab 5 Freddy]
Y'all have seen this. The shapeshifting concept was amazing. The father at the beginning was a horrible actor. "Look at my yard. Where's my daughter at? Is that dogg in there?" LMAO!
10. The Notorious B.I.G. - Hypnotize [Paul Hunter]
This was just like a movie. The girls were fine ass fuck especially that one Hawaiin chick eating the olive. OOOH WEEE!

Runner-Up
Naughty By Nature - Craziest [Hype Williams]
Damn this video was the CRAZIEST! I loved how Hype showed the niggaz from different cities. Mad cameos in this video. South Central Cartel, Coolio, Made Men a/k/a The Almighty RSO, Goodie Mob, Dre from Outkast, and a lot more were in it representin' they cities.

Non Hip Hop:
1. R. Kelly - Down Low [Hype Williams]
2. Jodeci - Love U 4 Life [Brett Ratner]

IMO Part one of that whole "Mr. Big" series which was R. Kelly's "Down Low" was a million times better.

1.) Nuthin But A G Thang
My favorite part was actually the intro part where it
played the beat from Deez Nuuts, the first time I saw
it I knew I had to have The Chronic.

2.) Dre Day/Real Compton City G's/Cowards In Compton
These are definitely the three funniest videos ever
made.  If this beef was decided on humor, Luke would
have been the champion.  It's a 3 way tie since they all
     share the same theme.

3.) Beck "Sex Laws"
Obviously not a hip hop song, but you never said this
only for hip hop.  Besides, where else could you see
    household appliances getting it on?

4.) Nine Inch Nails "Closer"
The first really fucked up video I remember seeing, plus
I think the song is tight as hell for being some alternative
    shit.

5.) Doggy Dogg World
This is the first hip hop video I've ever seen take it to the
next level in terms of quality and direction.  For those
who don't remember, it plays out like the intro to a dope
70's blaxploitation flick, and they included every black
70's star you could think of.  My favorite of course was
Pam Grier as Dre's woman, that was the shit.

6.) Natural Born Killaz

7.) Pete Rock and C.L. Smooth "Straighten It Out"

8.) Cypress Hill "Hand On The Pump"

9.) Redman "Time 4 Some Aksion"

10.) EPMD "Headbanger"

Had to include some old favorites at the end, they weren't so groundbreaking, but 7-10 are definetely classics and are videos I'd LOVE to see again sometime.  They need to dedicate time on MTV or BET for all the old hip hop videos.
