they kinda fucked up on the promo with "wouldn't get far," everyone i know is bumping that joint.  had they dropped it before christmas, i think game would have sold a LOT more.  now all his buzz has basically died down.  it was a good album but he just didn't have any great single material.

true, but Game and his management are looking for sales, Game has already been through 2 singles and is hovering right around 770k after 2 months, I wish artists would just release the best songs as singles rather than release what would sell the album, but it is a business and Game's management already stated that they made some mistakes with this album, the first one being releasing Let's Ride as a single, it sounded like a leftover track from Chronic 2001, plus it didn't make any noise on the charts, they should have released Too Much after One Blood

Too Much would not work as a major single though!! It would turn a few heads, but it doesn't have half the appeal that "Wouldn't get far" has, even if you feel it's a much better song, as I still do.

Wouldn't get far has a lot of single power....controversy, slick way of using video females in a video without being overtypical as most videos, Kanye West beat and a verse from him. Too Much would have worked a lot better in 2001.

^Exactly..."Too Much" is good but I feel "Wouldn't Get Far" would work better, because Kanye is a known artist & it works to have featured artists on your single before you drop another one...I feel Game should drop either "Ol English" or "Why You Hate The Game" next...
